Quick and Easy Payment Page Step # 2 FAQ : Section for "Payments Questions" There are (2) ways you can purchase DDL Software on line, or by US Mail. You can use either on-line service below please use only one, to avoid being charged twice. 1. Credit Card using PAYPAL (On-line secure store, yes you can use all major credit cards with PayPal.) or, SWREG Softshop (On-line secure store, All major credit cards accepted). 2. By US MAIL (Check or Money Order in US Funds) 10-14 day turn around. (We will email your ActivationCode) We do not accept credit cards by phone. Remember to return to the DDL Buy Online Now page to complete Steps 3 and 4. (There are four step to purchasing DDL. This is only step #2.) * You must have purchase the "Lite" version before you can receive the upgrade to the "Full" version. All versions are limited to four (4) drivers, (per computer), not four computers. If you wish to purchase Drivers Daily Log (DDL) for more then the standard 4 drivers version. We have a 10,20,30,50,100,1000, and Unlimited drivers versions available. Click here to see information on how to purchase Q1: Which payment method should I use? A: This is up to you, we offer several choices, and two different pay sites, in case one site is down. Q2: I do not like giving my credit card information on the internet, is it safe? A: Yes both sites are secure. Its like using your bank card at a store. Should you be charged more than you requested, a refund will be issued. Q3: Can you check and see what credit card I used to purchased DDL? A: We can see if it was a VISA, or MasterCard used, but we can not see the number at any time, we are informed only that the purchased was good. Q4: Should I print out a copy of the receipt for my records? A: YES, not only will you need this information, should you ever have to re-activate your copy of DDL, but you can claim DDL as a tax write off, for your business. Q5: How long will it take to receive my ActivationCode? A: It can take up to 48 hours from the time we are notified your payment was accepted. If you did not include your InstallationID as required, then we will have to email you to send it. We can not issue an ActivationCode. Before paying we recommend downloading and installing the latest version. This will make sure you receive the correct InstallationID number.
Q6: I understand that if I have the "Full" version I will have to buy an annual subscription after Jan 1, 2006? 12-JAN-2006 --ON HOLD A: This is correct, however please read the FAQ on the reactivation, or "NEW" activation page for more information, you do not pay up front, but at the end. Q7: My trial period expired today, I have to leave tonight for a run, can I get my ActivationCode on the phone? A: Only after 484 hours from the time your payment was received. Call Bruce at 505-317-9292 after 48 hours. DDL will warn you at 10 days and everyday down until 1 that your trial period is about to expire, so you need to make arrangements before the last minute, to ensure DDL will not stop accepting data. We must wait until your order has been processed and this can take up to 48 hours, before we receive the OK on it. Q8: It has been over 48 hours since I submitted and received confirmation that my payment was accepted, but I still have not received my ActivationCode and CustomerID/DDL#/DDL#/DDL Number, What should I do? A: Check the following: 1. Look in your trash can, junk folder, to see if you received an email from us. Many email programs require you to add a sender to a safe list, white list, many different names are used by email programs. Call Bruce only after 48 hours at 505-317-9292, you must have your order confirmation number or transaction number, confirming the order was accepted.
