July-29-2006 IAW FMCSA Regulation 396 ( Motor Carriers/Owner Operators) must Maintain a Record of all Maintenance performed on all units. We have added two new Monthly Preventive Maintenance and Repair History Records. These forms can be printed and used to comply with 396. We are working on adding a Maintenance Section to DDL that will allow you to complete the information and have DDL print this form out monthly to submit to your Motor Carrier, or for your records. It will work as the fuel record does now. You will click on the Maintenance Tab, complete any information not already completed by other sections (Power/Towed units). Then complete an expense record, again most information will be filled in from the maintenance record. One has a Tire section at the bottom, the 2nd place all records together. Both blank forms can be download and printed, these forms are located on the download page, under Other Downloads, near the bottom.
