On 24 Mar 2008, we will changed the trial period from 60 days to 30 days. A user can still request up to two 15 days extensions by using the Request for Activation Code Form on the web site. A new user (Software has never been installed on this computer). can will have to activate the 30 trial period, by clicking on the Internet Activation button, on the Activation/Purchased dialog windows. Below you can view the FAQ on this subject. All other Activations will need to still use the Request for Activation Code Form, that is located on the web site, or by clicking the button on the DDL Activation/Purchased dialog window.
Q-18: I have installed the 30 days Trial software, How do I activate it? A: After installing Drivers Daily Log (DDL). DDL will alert you that it needs to be activated and take you to the DDL - Activation/Purchase dialog box. (see below). Complete the Fill in fields (white boxes). Then click on Internet Activation button (see red arrow below). (You will need to be connect to the Internet) Note: This will only work, if this is a unique InstallationID number in our database. Click on, and Complete the Internet Web Form ActivationCode remember you will need your InstallationID number. If this is a new activation (just purchased), you will not have a DDLID number, you will need to fill in the number from your receipt. If this is a new or reactivation, then you will need to provide your DDLID number or your receipt number from when you purchased DDL. Your DDLID number can be found on the email you received from us, next to your name. It is very important to PRINT AND SAVE this email, in order to avoid having to repurchase the software.
