Using DDL with ProMile XF (v12) and ProMiles SDK routing software.

From within DDL click on Reports menu, you should see ProMiles Calculate Miles.

Note: If ProMiles Calculate Miles is not in the list, then you either do not have the latest version of DDL 3.4.3.01 or later containing the file ddlpromiles.dll, or you have not been issued an ActivationCode to unlock this feature. Please complete the Request  for New ActivationCode form on our web site. or Click here if you are connected to the Internet

You must have the SDK module from ProMiles  installed and registered. Click here for ProMiles web site

Click on ProMiles Calculate Miles.

DDL will display a dialog box to "Select Days Range for Log Records for ProMiles".

You can change the dates to use from this dialog box. Click on Include CoDriver Log Records if you wish to include the CoDrivers information. You can also click on Trip.. and Select which Trip you want to appear on the printed record. This is and option and does not have to be done.

Click OK once you have the days needed.

Hint: If the trip was less than 7 days, than we recommend you start DDL on the last day of the trip, DDL will then list the show the dates for the last 7 days. ie. in this example DDL was on the April 30 2007, and is listing since April 23-2007. 

DDL will generate a Itinerary Locations List from all the duty status from the dates you selected.

There are two ways to add locations:

1. You can Click on any Duty Status in the left window, this will transfer it to the Validated Locations Window.

2. You can type in a City into the field next to Fix and the State two letter code in the second box. You must then click on the "Add to Validated Locations" button. This will then add the City, State into the Validated Locations box.

Once you have selected or manually type in the City/State you wished to audit, Click on Next button.

Select the Route method you want to use from the Select Routing and Mileage Options dialog box. Click on Next button when done.

You can choose from Practical - Shortest Time (Default), Interstate, STAA - National Highway Network, or Shortest Route.

DDL will generate Routing and Mileage Results, You have several options in this dialog box to select from.

1. You can generate a Itinerary/Directions Report  Click here for Image

2. You can generate Total Mileage Report (Default). Click here for Image

3. You can generate a State Mileage Breakdown (SMB) report. Click here for Image

4. You can generate an  Hours and Speed Audit. Click here for Image

5. You can Show the Trip on a Map by clicking on Show Trip on Map button. Click here for Image

All the above can be done using any one of the following:

1. Practical - Shortest Time

2. Interstate

3. STAA - National Highway Network

4. Shortest Route

After you have selected the type of report you want, then click on Print, or to save to a Text file file click on To Text File button, or Save to Clip Board, click on To Clip Board.
