Thank you for your interest in purchasing DDL Software, please follow the steps below: WARNING! Do not download and install the update, if you have submitted the InstallationID, Wait until you have received an activated code, and activated the software, failure to follow these instruction, will result in the InstallationID changing and the ActivationCode we issued will not work a new request will have to be completed. Step 1. Please re-download and install Drivers Daily Log Trial version. This will update the software to the current version. You must complete this step. Step 2. Open the Register DDL screen, copy down the InstallationID number. You must submit this to us before we can issue an ActivationCode. It will look like this XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-44066 (Each computer will have a different InstallationID number, so be sure you submit the correct one. SWREG has a place to put this number, if using PayPal, you will need to put it under Comments, or Notes. Step 3. If you have questions or want to see the license policy Read # 1 below (You may select a buying option in # 1 at the end). If you're ready to purchase go to #2 below. Step 4. Select # 2 to go to the Buy page, follow the instructions. within 48 hours (usually within 12 hours) you will receive an email with your ActivationCode, follow the instructions in the email. PRINT and Save this email as it contains your ActivationCode, and CustomerID/DDL#/DDL# number, without which, you might be required to re-purchased DDL, should you ever need to reactivate the software. Step 5. If you don't read anything else on the web site, please read the Licensing Policy, and Reactivation or "NEW" Activation Information pages, both of which contain information you will need. The links are on the left in blue. Step 6. At least once every couple of months, re-download and install DDL to update it to the current version, failure to do this can cost you big $$$, in fines for having software that is not doing the rules correctly. We issue updates weekly, or as soon as a bug is fixed. Updates are free. DO NOT DELETE YOUR OLD DDL, OR YOU WILL LOOSE YOUR DATA. Updating will update just the files needed. 1. Purchasing One License Single Computer (Up to 4 drivers) FIRST before you pay for DDL registration license - Download the latest version of either the 'Lite' or 'Full' version (Up to 4 Drivers Version) of DDL. (NOT BOTH) Click here to go to the Download Page This must be done before we will issue an ActivationCode, rule's change and we update the software weekly. When you're ready, then pay for registration license and receive an ActivationCode by email from the author to 'unlock' DDL. It is NOT necessary to pay first. Please download and test for up to 30 days first. You can download and install updates during this free trial for free. On the 60th day DDL will stop accepting new data input , until activated, we do not delete any information, just stop the input of new information until registered. It can take up to 48 hours after we receive payment information to issue an ActivationCode, so plan for this, to prevent a delay. Activations are done by email, or US Mail, not over the phone. Many email accounts are filtering emails before the user can read/view them, as such if you have an account that does (or if your not sure) AOL does for sure, then you will need to add the following email address to your address book, or safe list, white list, or what ever your provider calls the list that allows incoming email to be received. If you need a 'backup' of the DDL install program, then use 'save to' option in your internet browser and have download saved to a local folder and file on your system hard drive, then copy it to a CDROM, DVD disk, or a Flash Drive. The software is not copy protected, until installed on a computer. Once installed the InstallationID number will be different for every computer, and the Drivers Daily Log main folder should not be copied to a different computer that has DDL activated, as that computer's DDL version will become un-activated, and go back in to trial mode, if any days remain of the trial period. If no days remain DDL will stop accepting Data input, until a new ActivationCode can be entered. You can and should make a backup of your driving folder, this can be moved and installed on any computer running DDL Software.

5. Companies wishing to purchase for their drivers. Companies wishing to purchase copies for their drivers are US$95.00 each. Include the company name in your request. We must have a contact who will be taking care of this account. This person will need all the InstallationID's numbers from the computers you wished registered. IMPORTANT: Make sure you have the DDL 'InstallationID' for the DDL on the computer you wish to register. The 'InstallationID' you provide is computer hardware specific. The 'ActivationCode' will only unlock the DDL on the computer with the correct InstallationID. The 'ActivationCode' will NOT unlock DDL on two computers.
