How do I know if my motor Carrier will accept DDL printed log sheets, and which one do i need? Answer: We have a list of Motor Carriers that shows the Motor Carrier and what log they will accept. Click here to see this list. If you know your Motor Carrier will accept DDL logs, then please email us with, the following information: DOT number, Motor Carrier name and address and which DDL log they will accept. Newest Print Module -- FFE (Rair) Log, Roehl Transport Inc, Gainey, Hogan, John Christner, Generic Rair 02, Schneider USA and Schneider Canada, Conway, Mercer, Fikes Truck Line, National Freight inc (NFI). Knight Transportation, Covenant Transport DDL will not change the look of the main log page when you install a print module, it adds a Print Module to the list under the Print menu. DRIVERS READ THIS BEFORE DOWNLOADING A PRINT MODULE. We offer 31 print modules, many having several options for different Motor Carriers, (A Print Module will adds a print function to Drivers Daily Log to print other log formats), DDL will not change the way it looks. Download all Print Modules from our Download Page. Click on PRINT, then Print Current Log Day.. Choose the print module you have installed. Any options, setting, DDVIR will need to be chosen from the Print Module you open. Please follow the steps below, or a crash, or other problems can result. DDL 'Full' is a duty status and owner operator 'tool'. The print modules are enhancements at no extra cost to the user, and are not part of the US$95 purchase price. If having a DDL printed log is important then you can check our "Truck Companies that accept DDL Logs page". Or ask your log department which log they will accept. If not listed on the site, we have no ideal if they will or will not. We do not deal with the companies unless they have purchased DDL or iTruck. Step 1. Download and Install DDL (Full version) again, Do not delete your old DDL. DDL must be the latest version, as shown on our download page. If you skip this step, most likely your print module or DDL will crash. (If you have not downloaded and installed in the last 72 hours, then you do not have the latest version). This needs to be done every time you update DDL. Step 2. Download and Install the print module you need. If you have more than one print module installed, you will need to download and install each and every one, every time, or a crash can result. Step 3. Read the information below: There are more companies that will accept DDL than listed below. Please visit our Companies that accept DDL page. Click here All Print Modules were updated on the 17-Feb-2008. Several companies have changed their log to met the new Canada requirements, In order for us to update, we need 3 copies mailed by US mail in a flat envelope, (DO NOT FOLD). to PO BOX 157., Kulpmont, PA 17834-0157. It will take several months before we can update each log. We do not contact any company.If your company is using rapid Log Log Auditing software, we CAN NOT do these logs due copyright laws. DDL has a Full Page DDVIR that can be printed alone. There is a section for DDVIR for buses, and Motor Coaches. Special 'Full Page" Drivers Daily Vehicle Inspections. Click Here New Canada Schedule 1, 2 and 3 DDVIR Inspection is available for our Classic and OCR log. You can select this DDVIR from within the 'Classic or OCR' print module once opened. Click on the DDVIR-SETTINGS-Select DDVIR (Inspection Form) This meets the requirements for Canada Vehicle Requirements for Trucks, Buses and Motor Coaches. PRINT MODULES LIST ( We currently offer 31 different logs combinations) 12-Jan-2006, We are not working on any new print modules at this time. Many logs are close but can be two different logs, they might work for other companies please view the sample logs. NOTE: The information entered in the Motor Carrier Record will print on the log. We do not guarantee we can or will make any print module for any company. New Print Modules are done by meeting the following requirements, then they placed in a to do if time allows file. Special Note: For now until we complete adding Bus and School Bus to DDL you can print and use the Sample DDVIR to complete your DDVIR for turn in to your motor carrier. Canada drivers you must use the new 2007 Schedule 1, 2, or 3 inspections. Do not use DDVIR01 it does not meet the requirements of the schedule. You need to be running a Canada rule in order to see the Canada DDVIR. DDVIR01 (Stand alone) 1. To make changes, use the 'DDVIR' button on DDL menu bar. After changes the 'Print Preview' in DDVIR display will show 'Print Preview'. 2. 'Print' button on menu bar only presents 'print preview'. No changes allowed even if 'DDVIR' button in print module is selected.
